Thinking of organising a trip round there from Rochester.
In the opinion of the panel ...How long after LW before there is enough water to get in ?
Looks like neaps on planned weekend
Seriously, We draw a metre, its been a year or two since last visit.

Hello oldgit, nice photo, that's me in front of you with the mast off.
I drew 1.5 nearly, with all my tools and cruising stuff on board, and found I needed to wait until it was at least half way to springs.
How long before HW? Depends on your speed, and if you arrived at the town quay a few minutes after HW it would be ok. Half tide at the spit cardinal would be too early.

(grandmother/eggs alert) Check out the wind direction for the preceeding couple of days, if it's been blowing a NE down the whole length of the N Sea, it brings a useful extra few million tons up the Swale. cheers Jerry

If you draw a metre and it's neaps, I don't think I would venture past Hollowshore until say 90 minutes before HW.
Can be a bit lively on the town quay (on the right in the foreground) as on the ebb they open the sluices in the gate the photographer was standing on, to help blow the mud away. If you have a crowd from the club rafted there it might stretch the shore lines a bit...
