\"fastidious\" owner
Has anyone noticed that about 50% of boats are owned by owners who claim to be "fastidious". They can't all be as fastidious as they claim, because the word itself surely implies that your attantion to detyail is extreme. If everyone is fastidious, then nobody is, really.
I admit that i have a winter over-cover to protect the canopy and spare old winter fenders, which i reckon is fairly fastidious. I also nearly asphixiated no#2 sone by sending into the fwd hatch to clean it with bleach and make it new. Ok, i also paint the bilges every year. Perhaps there is a point at which "fastidious" becomes "sad git"
