Fast 21-27\' lifting keel yacht?

Any recommendations please for some fast 21-27' yachts I could investigate, secondhand or new? My future requirements will be:

Have some chance of keeping up with larger cruising yachts on day sails and club racing when there's enough wind, so maybe a modern semi-planing flat wide stern design? The smallest boat at the club is currently 27', most are >30'.

Mostly day sailing in a warm climate (Caribbean), with a crew of 2, with perhaps the odd island hop or weekend, so spacious accomodation below and a dry cockpit is not a high priority.

Roomy cockpit, decent stern swimming access, enough headroom under bimini (to avoid headbanging and sunburn).

Some kind of lifting keel, it's probably going to be kept on a boat lift to reduce fouling when not in use for 2/3 months at a time and also access shallow bays or even beach.

Easyish singlehanded sailing, ideally so I can reach both the foresail winches and the tiller. I don't mind if it's not super stiff providing it's not going to fall over.

It doesn't have to be trailable, so width is no problem to about 13'.

If it's quick under engine that wouldn't be a disadvantage.

Cost - under £30K, could be a very long way under as I'm not desperate to spend that amount if I don't have to.

Thanks,

Max

Hi MaxR.I have a beneteau first 211.Have a look here.
http://www.finot.com/general/index_ang.htm
They are very fast for their size, and easily driven so even in light airs they go well.when the wind picks up are a load of fun but also quite stiff, and with the keel up unly draw 70cm.Also well within your budget new.

Hi,

We have a Gibsea 76 (8.2M) with lifting keel. Nice big open cockpit and easy to sail single handed, the rear part of the cockpit can be removed to access the small swimming platform. Accomodation is also good below with an aft cabin and 4 further berths in the main cabin. It is a good quality boat and you can get a late 80's version for about £16K+.

It has a wide stern and a draft of 80cm keel up and 150cm (approx) keel down.
