Hi gang,

Wonder if there are any parker 21 owners or previous owners could shed some light I this boat.

How comfortable at sea is it for a west Scotland cruise? (Solo sailer so overall size hasn't a problem)

Would you take it "off shore" in the sense from of longer passage to, say, the outer Hebrides?

It seems to tick so many boxes but I can't help but be worried that it's so light - worrying it will get stopped on a north channel chop!

Hello, I've only just seen this, did you buy a boat? I have a P21 and sail it out of Nairn. I have to say for such a small boat it's pretty good in a chop. She's quite fast so can be quickly over canvassed, sailing in over 25 knots is a bit of a challenge with only 2 mainsail reefing points, though she's pretty good under genoa alone for cruising in rougher weather.

Some years ago I took the family from Southampton to Cherbourg to Le Harvre to Poole to Southampton over two weeks. It’s a great little boat and doesn’t bounce too much.
