Anybody have any experience of these engines - particularly the 7.5hp single cylinder? Mainly interested to know if there are any reliabilty / dependability issues I should look out for. I'm looking to buy one (new) as an alternative to the Yanmar 1 GM10. Thanks in advance

3 million cement mixers can't be wrong,a good simple engine,a bit noisy and clunky but spares for basics are easy to get and if sourced from non marine suppliers reasonably cheap.Had one for 5 years and it was brilliant.Agricultural is a term applied to them which in my books is an accolade!

I had the single cylinder 12hp Farryman in my Shipman 28
started first time every time and very reliable. When the starter motor failed in France whilst on holiday, it was very easy to start by hand. My particular engine was over 20 years old and I can't think of a bad thing to say about it.
Cheers
Homa
