Unfortunately, the BBC couldn't afford the contract for live football over the interweb.

A couple of years ago, before the CG re-organsation, I heard Humber, Thames, Dover, Solent and Brixham Coastguards at Burnham, all within an hour. Must have been very flukey conditions. Never heard this before or since.

less of a nuisance than it used to be but we got a DSC alert a week or so ago that obviously arrived via channel 70 but had no accompanying information. unless of course it was a safety warning fom holland that left the radio on 16 but the voice transmission didn't carry.
