Nope, it's on straight shafts.
Remember, the quoted top speed is only a projection and the final speed attained may be higher once they've experimented with different props, etc. Incidentally, the show boat has the smaller Cat C18's.
And as I've said before, speed may be a high priority for some in the SofF, in other territories it is less of a priority I believe.
And after all GT means "Grand Tourer" doesn't it (the 'O' is for Open)...
