This will be old news to some of you that received MBY earlier in the week, but today Fairline were pleased to release the first rendering and details of the Targa 62.
This is the first ground up design that new Fairline have commissioned with Mancini responsible for the design and Vripack the naval architecture. You can read the full press release here http://www.fairline.com/en/news/fairline-unveils-its-first-mancini-design. To my eyes, the design is bang up to date and you can definitely identify it as a Fairline. Fairline say that the hull shape has been designed for maximum volume (to keep Henry happy) so it will be interesting to see how this looks and pans out.
What’s also interesting from the press release is where Fairline are pitching the boat to focus on “complete flexibility of layout” and a multitude of options.
This will be another resin infused boat and built with Fairline’s traditional monocoque construction.
