The new squadron 42 was at all wales boat show and the breakers on the boat were chint in make which are chinese,as a sparky i would not dream of fitting these in a domestic house, is it normal to have such products fitted on expensive boats .roy

Why not use Chint ?

Just because they are Chinese does not mean they are rubbish. Can you back up your inference these are not up to the mark ?

Have you taken time to study the efforts they have gone to to comply with IEE regulations, UL, etc. ?

I have used Chint extensively in my business for nearly 10 years - very happy with the entire Chint range and in particular the direct product support provided in the UK. Not sure I would say the same for Telemecanique, MK or other kit.

A few boat builders are now using these, they come as part of the package from Axon
