I should know the answer to this but I don't. I don't think these are Gewiss sockets but does anyone know what they are?
If it is the socket you are looking for (and not the face plate), I have some extra from when I bought my boat and swapped the eu-sockets in. Those look identical to mine. Can send you if you need them.
You need smart TVs as only movies from your own network or netflix will work unless you want to watch Spanish tv

looks like they are obsolete in which case I'll have to find something else that won't clash too much.
When you say Smart TV's do you actually mean Smart TV's or TV's with Amazon, ROKU, etc boxes? At least if make an inverter driven 240v socket I can plug a Smart TV in later or use it to power a ROKU or similar now.
Real smart tv. They are cheap so there is no need to mess about with 2 remotes additional boxes etc I always use Samsung as I think they have the best interface
On the off chance that any of you are remotely interested, I sent Hedley and Ellis a photo of the socket to see if they recognized it. Shortly afterwards they replied to say that it's a "Gewiss System Compact" surround in 'titanium' (smoked chrome) finish. These were custom sockets made especially for Fairline 15+ years ago (off the shelf they were white then H & E plated / painted them).
Better still they still have stock and can supply 1, 2, 3, or 4 gang plates. Even more amazingly they are only £3 each and the plugs / coax / switches are available too (Playbus ones aren't compatible). The chap was extremely helpful and said that he gets an order from a Fairline owner every year or so (probably sign-posted from my web site).
So I've ordered enough for my immediate purposes (plus some spares).
Happy days!
Great information Pete, thanks. I will need to order a couple myself.

No problem, they're not the world's most attractive sockets but I like things to match. Let me know when you're ready to order and I'll let you have the chap's name and part numbers.
Thanks J, I know this is an often asked question but the situation does seem to be constantly changing.
How are you getting the data to watch TV; Wifi or 4G? And what are you using to spoof IP addresses?
