Not sure about the 130, my 140's are happy on unleaded (or so it says on the air cleaner cover).

Must say the name doesn't ring a bell, but hey, that's nothing new - the children find my forgetfullness a huge surce of fun!
I was at Hamble in early 69, (course 692 - the second intake of 1969) leaving late '70 (the courses were 18 months long). We always tried to keep well clear of the two Chiefs, one of Flying, the other of ground school, for obvious reasons! However, I will check in my log book and see if I ever flew with him and let you know.
By the way, I still have the two blue College of Air Training signs that were by the entrance gates....but that's another story
