Sunny, F2-3 SW - up to Heybridge and back. Gave the cruising chute an airing. Tea and cake in the cockpit in the afternoon sun. Purrrrrfect. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

That really is rubbing it in to those working types /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I to was on the water however didnt untie and go any where but did get my secondary electric bilge pump finished, fiddle rail fitted to the top or the new lockers, started custom sliding sheving in the celler. all in all a good day but did sit staring down the river dreaming.

More of the same for tomorrow, its a hard life, heading to the public loo at serfend for a bottle of wine (Now called Oceanbeach) and gaze out over the thames /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

The Wcs at Westcliff have also been turned into a nice cafe/bar/restaurant called ----- Toulouse!

There is a newish smart fish restaurant at the end of the cockle sheds in Old Leigh (just across the road from us) of which I have heard good reports - SWMBO and I will have a celebratory lunch there on Sunday (13 years - almost a record /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif)

Roger

Is this a trend??????? they are turning all the public Looooooos in Essex from places where you empty into places where you fill up. Very strange

Twas a lovely day sailed to rowhedge and back nice beam wind all the way no other boats and no seals but lots of geese.

Oh yes and that huge i say HUGE crane barge tug floating island thing off Mersea stone, it is so big it scares me when i sail past it.

Bah! Humbug!!
Not working (not shopping either, I do supermarket-trolley racing on Fridays) but boat is out with big ventilation hole in the bottom - saildrive leg is resident in my garage at present. Four weeks to go before getting the bottom wet again...

I think the "smug so-and-so" smiley would be more appropriate to your post..... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
