could two men take it off and put it back on, on the marina jetty ,ie how heavy is it any one done it ,cheers SS
Jeez Roy, Burton Waters and the shippers should know the answer to this. You shouldn't need to ask us.
It’s hardly up to them to know the size of everyone’s boats, all the transporters I have used have asked me to provide dimensions of my own boat so they can see how it fits their trailer, they have a rough idea from experience but that’s it.

The shipping height of boats is well known. Removing the radar, GPS, etc is not a straightforward task. Removing an actual radar arch is a significant task. Find someone to truck the boat who knows what they are doing.
I do use someone who knows what they are doing and that person will have the sense to ask dimensions, the shipping heights of production boats are well known but doesn’t take into account any changes made by owners etc, why does everyone expect to pass their responsibilities on to someone else ? I transport many things for my my business and it’s always the customers responsibility to provide shipping dimensions, if you can’t then pay for someone to provide them, as I said it’s not up to the haulier to know everyone’s boat dimensions.
Some of the questions asked on here are scary and makes me wonder how some people are safe to go to sea.
You just found your second man Roy :encouragement: Dan is the mob expert, I'll guard the fridge![]()
