Last year a mate and I went looking at 25-29 foot boats and the USA boats seemed poor with the montery coming out best but well below the BMB. So yesterday I took my brother to SIBS and on the way down was telling him these facts. We went on the new BMB 25 and he wasnt too impressed. Just to prove my point we went on the Monteray and oooppppsss. The BMB was awful compared. The cabin was tacky to say the least. So was I wrong before or have BMB built the 25 to compete on price (which it fails to do) and dropped the quality??? Sadly we didnt come across an S23 - would have been nice to have compared it......

Hi Sandra, How are you doing, You didn't reply to my PM. Anyway....

You are right about the BMB25, It was one of the boats i wanted to look at this year. Very dissappointed, Horrible woodwork in the cabin, Very cramp, Cabin height far too low, the cockpit has a descent layout, with a walkaround and a walk through, The height in the cockpit was also far to low, It didn't stop the salesman wanting to give me a price and asking me fora £500 deposit, Also Spec up price came in a £70k /forums/images/icons/shocked.gif. David took me to see the Montereys, and to say i was impressed is an understatment, Like the 250 and the 270 a lot.
The reason you wouldn't see a S23, is because its now renamed the S25/forums/images/icons/laugh.gif/forums/images/icons/wink.gif.
