We are looking at trailer sailers to buy and may need a new trailer depending on what we end up buying.

Extreme Marine offers a wide range at reasonable price on boats and outboards website.

Has anyone bought one and like to comment on the company or the trailers?

I bought one, excellent trailer, easy guys to deal with, they are a little hard to find, down a side street, behind some houses.

I would use them again, helpful and good prices.

No connection, etc,etc.

Thanks for that. If we buy a boat without a trailer or with a ropy one they will probably get the order for a new one.

Extreme Marine Trailers.

I can second that - I bought a trailer for a 3.8M inflatable last year & cannot fault extreme marine for their service.
A couple of points regarding the trailer (1) The time it takes to put the trailers together takes longer than what they would have you believe. This is due mainly to the bolts supplied being over long & therefore you need deep sockets to be able to rachet them up. (2) All of the bolts are supplied with nylock nuts - whilst this is good in so much as they will not shake loose but they are a pain to tighten up (especially considering the point above). (3) All of the bolts/u-bolts supplied are only bright zinc plated - this is inferior to spun galvanising finish which would be a better specification for a marine enviroment. I would expect that the bolts will corrode with age which may make future dis-assembly of the trialer difficult.
A part from a few 'could do better' points I would happily recommend - very good value for the money.

Cheers

Many thanks for that Paul. Especially handy to know in advance that deep sockets are required for assembly.
