Explosion forming Al Hulls?

Morning!

I'm trying to find info on the method for forming Aluminium hulls where a roughly shaped hull is put in a concrete mould in the ground, filled with water and then explosives used to 'blow' the aluminium to the required shape.

Does anyone know any websites or anything? I've tried all the usual searches but without any success.

There was something in YM several years ago. Staff or indexes might help. It happened in Australia, as I recall: months of preparatory work on a hole in the ground, then a big bang, and bingo!

If I remember rightly they were featured a couple of years ago in one of the Yachting Mags of IPC ......
