From time to time dudes take it upon themselves to have digs at other dudes experience.
Just so's you know. I have boated on The Serpentine, Roath Park (Cardiff), Ruislip Lido, Victoria Pond and other hazardous venues. In World War 2 I was torpedoed and sunk 4 times, (well it was my Dad actually but I was a Sperm in his loins at the time but technically I was there so to speak.)
