Excel by boat

How close can you get to Excel for the boat show by boat. Can you get right into the dock by the show?

Short answer is yes but not very easily, you will have to lock through and find a mooring, there are a few narrow boats that do it, I will try and figure out how they do it.

I think the Tower DLR station is currently closed.

Tower DLR is closed but you can walk to Shadwell, or Bank, in not much longer.

Great idea - but last time I tried to use that bit of water I was attacked by a very irate buoy layer from the rowers who race on there. So be careful!
