I don't know why swim platforms cannot be made hinged. So you can raise them and lower them as needed. Ok so nowhere to put the tender, but not all peeps need or want one.Rodman 38. LOA. 39.ft
Been looking at a Rodman "41" with a view to finding a berth.
Our mooring master lookd at the boat , laughed and got his tape measure out., its 47 feet long.
On our pontoons boats are required to have 6 ft clearance both fore and aft between you and the next boat... thats a 53 ft mooring .
My present mooring is only 42ft.
Plan B............Chop of a pointless waste of space in the UK, the swim platform ?
Only joking.

Then why don't they do it on Mobos.Totally standard on modern sailyboats ?
Pete
Possibly cos the marinas eventually will add an extra charge ( lets say 10% ) for boats fitted with lifting swim platforms and you will be back to square one, with a lot of new income for people who repair the marine hydraulics on swim platforms .Then why don't they do it on Mobos.
