Can you use that to thin the glue?
You could try Ever Build instead of Evostik.

I found that one but then I looked at the composition of the stuff B&Q were selling see http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/common/chip_info.jsp?ean=5010591005662Evo-Stick contains Acetone, Butanone, Ethyl Acetate, Naptha (Petroleum) & Xylene.
I'd be inclined to thin it with either Petrol or Acetone.
Update - EvoStick cleaner/ thinners is freely available, and is 100% Butanone.

I bought a can in Tiptree last year.
Try the hardware shop in the main street.
Its called Staines or Brights (I forget which, one is the electrical shop and one is the hardware etc, they are close to each other).
