Have been searching for a replacement impeller for my 14hp evinrude worktwin commercial engine but despite help from various sources have so far drawn a blank.
The dimensions of the impeller I need as follows.
External dia 40mm
shaft bore size 14mm
width 17mm
6 blade.
If anyone can assist in locating this impeller I would be most grateful.
Seems that all the early evinrude records have disappeared into the ether and nobody seems to know anything about this engine.
Notice that some sites in USA claim to have but reluctant to order only to find incorrect and having paid postage and import duty considerably in excess of item cost .

Import costs can't be avoided but understand your point.

Most US parts are specified in inches and a 14 hp OMC/BRP Johnson/Evinrude of 1983(ish) isn't easy to find.
I take it your stated dimensions are accurate, what drive design is it (key, pin, spline, D-flat...)?

Maintaining Johnson/Evinrude 9.9 part 1 :
You may also encounter motors that you can not identify. These may consist of a 9.9 or 15hp powerhead mounted on a older 10/15/18hp complete exhaust housing lower unit. Here the HP will not be consistent with US models, like a 9 or 14hp. And the model number does not even show in the factory lists.

Do you have a part number for the impeller?

Hi,
I was sent an impeller kit by a company but unfortunately the housing was different although the metal insert was the same size.
I was going to use the impeller provided but found that it would not fit the shaft as shaft is 14.2mm which I assume is a 14mm bore with wear or as you say may be before metric size?
The external dia and depth of the impeller sent was correct just the bore too small.
I did think of reaming out to the size required but might be a bad idea.
Have sent pic of my impeller and the only markings on it are the no 53 and L and X
The pic of the housing shows my one on left and the housing sent which is wrong on right.
The model no is E14RSLJ
Serial No B 001548
