Re: Ever thought of Wing Mirrors on a Boat ?
Sailing in the Inner Sound a couple of years back with my two teenage children on board, I tried to impress on them the importance of keeping a good lookout all round, including astern, because even in those quiet waters there were some fairly fast boats around. Two minutes later, an RAF Jaguar came over from behind at what felt like mast height and mach 3. Told them that they should have been keeping a better watch astern /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif!
Classic West coast of Scotland day that was - torrential rain in the morning, F3/4 on the beam under a blue sky most of the afternoon, and finishing with a 6 on the nose beating between two islands.
