so so far you have slammed the pilots etc for this as a oops. i think you need to rethink your posts. by the looks of it they have had a
issue, so the ship was beached due to a list (bbc)which could have quite easily caused the ship to capsize in the deep channel of cowes. great call by the skipper/pilot much easier to salvage from there and the port stays open.
