Euromarine Insurance: Any Experience?

I’m currently looking for this year’s insurance for my Konsort and have found the usual suspects are asking the usual questions for the usual premiums.

Euromarine have come in with a competitive price and haven’t asked for a survey (yes, I have a recent survey). Does anyone have any experience, good or bad, with Euromarine please?

I made silly assumption based on Euro ..... but still does not change my original statement about EU based often being cheaper and less gubbins than UK based

I’m insured with Euromarine Brest to the Elbe area . I have been very happy and would recommend.

All my Portuguese friends with boats are jealous of me with my premium of £440, they pay over €1000

WOW ... seems they need to shop around ... German based are good to look at ...

BUT of course your 'rebutt' of my general statement is literally worthless - until all limitations / excesses / clauses / boat comparisons / valuations / etc etc etc are considered - no good saying as you probably wish to when reading this ... similar to mine ... yeh well ....

One is Portuguese German the other Portuguese. Both struggled. Rebutt? uh? mine was the same as yours, a general statement. They both scoured the market.

I tried our car and apartment insurance broker who also handles Portuguese boats and he said he couldn't cover UK registered boats. Whether that's Portuguese law or his particular insurers, I don't know.
