Euro "Ensigns"

Euro \"Ensigns\"

I have now seen several European Community flags with different country national flags in the top left corner being flown by foreigh boats.
I realise that these are definately not allowed as a British ensign but does any country actually have such a true ensign?

OK OK sorry...... it just seems that quite a lot of boats are beginning to use this type of flag as their ensign......

and I'd like a nice light blue one as well!!!

It's just the ones flown from the stern that I mean.

No worries, but it's illegal and there are a few countries where they get more than a little pissed off if you are wearing the wrong ensign, not showing a courtesy flag, or the wrong one, not showing an anchor ball or light and not showing a motor sailing cone! I would prefer to keep my money in my pockets or over the bar, than pay it out to some officious bastard for a fine! Simple as that.
