I am considering buying a trailer sailer such as an Etap 22i or a Parker 21. Does anyone have any views on the relative merits of each, and are there other alternatives which can be trailed as easily?

Also does anyone know where any of these boats are for sale?

Etap 22i will be cheaper to buy, is possibly less sportie than the Parker. The Parker I think is better built. Both these boats can easily be towed by the family car. Alternatives, Jaguar 21, First 18 and possibly the Hunter 21. Good place to start looking and miles from any water is Nationwide Boat Sales.

Try a Limbo 6.6. I did 2 years ago and have been very impressed. Good web site at
http://groups.msn.com/Limboyachts/_whatsnew.msnw. Lots of info & pictures.

I have an excel spreadsheet comparing various trailer sailers. PM me if you'd like a copy.

I looked at Etap 22i but wasn't impressed with the accomodation. I think "unsinkability" vertue is overrated.
