I am getting this when I try accessing ybw.com on my table (been fine up to now). I have tried clearing cookies and cache. Any ideas?

This is a problem with your browser, most likely Chrome. If so, I have heard that turning off the data saver helps. Also consider reinstalling Chrome, specially if a number of sites you access are affected. Or switch browsers.

Yes, its a HUDL2 tablet running Chrome via WiFi. Some other sites are affected.

Check that you don't have a proxy set in the LAN settings.

No offence JBJAG27 but why is it that on this, a boating oriented forum, so many of the contributors assume that we are all fully computer literate? I see so many discussions on here which are full of computer jargon and meaningless (to me) abbreviations. Perhaps a separate section for techy stuff should be included. Those of us who just want to sail could be spared all this mind boggling computer speak.

I tried all the (limited) settings available. In the end I reset chrome to factory (it could not be fully removed, I assume is part of android ROM), then updated via play store. Now all is well.

Thanks all for help.

You can go sailing without the forum to hand.. :D
Problem is people use so many different devices these days, settings even end up in different places on devices with the same OS.

Actually I agree with AndrewB, other people suggest chrome's data save is the problem.
Start chrome.
Prod the three vertical dots in the top right corner.
Prod settings.
Scroll down to "data saver" and prod that.
Turn it off.

Let us know if it makes any difference.

You don't have to read it if you don't want to! Admittedly the heading of this thread could be clearer that it is a web site that is involved. And assuming some knowledge on the part of the reader is always the minimalist way to start; if they want more background they can ask if they really need to, or even look it up...

Mike.
