I'm looking to buy an Epropulsion Spirit 1 plus and wondered if it was worth hanging on until the Southampton Boat show. Have any of you had a good deal on this at previous shows?
Nope. Tried this last year. Kept getting referred to a dealer.I'm looking to buy an Epropulsion Spirit 1 plus and wondered if it was worth hanging on until the Southampton Boat show. Have any of you had a good deal on this at previous shows?
I was trying the same and never had any luck, finally just bought earlier this year as I needed something for this years cruising. Had really good service from Ian at Nestaway Boats - Electric Outboards & Portable Boatshe’s a forum member
Did get free storage bags for both outboard and battery though.
I must add, used a few times over this last month and really impressed
We did exactly the sameYes, this. Free bags, and I manipulated an interest free credit card, complete with free "award points" so as to make the purchase slightly less painful.
The pricing arrangement is clearly a cartel of some sort.
It's the same for accessories, such as the solar charge controller mentioned above.
Happy with the motor, so far...
That’s looks very neat, would be interested in knowing where they got it fromI just saw this in the marina today. Looks a lot neater than a steel cable through the handle.

new addition by the manufacturer or a retro-fittable purchase? No sign of it on the Nestaway siteI just saw this in the marina today. Looks a lot neater than a steel cable through the handle.
Agree that’s a lot for a lock set, think I will stick with my wire cord and padlockThese locks are being 3D printed I think and are available in the U.K. from a supplier in Derby:

I’m struggling with stumping up 125 quid for a couple of bits of 3D printed plastic at the moment.
Article Here suggests a bar type lock on the mounting bolts and a cable lock around it and the battery handle, which makes a lot of sense and is certainly less than 125 quid all in- all of it made of steel too. Nestaway have a bar lock on offer for 40 quid.
