On the International web site it says don't put Gelshield 200 over one pack epoxy. Fair enough but how on earth do I know that the epoxy on my boat is not one pack because it was on when I bought it.?

If your not sure you will have to coat it with a special paint which will not react and then alow you to use the epoxy of your choice .
Look under coatings for PDS in the back of PBO,or ring them for help 08709090093
They are in Peterborough.

I assume that the reason they say this is that the solvent in the Gelshield 200 will react with the previous coating system. To test what is there now, rub it with a selection of aggressive solvents, but particularly acetone or MEK, and petrol. If these remove the coating it is at risk. If they don't, you are probably safe.
