Epoxy stain removal

Is there a way to remove epoxy stains from Gelcoat? I dripped some of the clear stuff and the spots went unnoticed. Later due to UV exposure they turned ugly yellow (((((((((

The easiest solution is to veryu carefully wet and dry the effected area with progressively finer paper.
