Does anyone see a problem in putting Epifanes gloss varnish on top of International Schooner Varnish (recently applied)
both seem to be Tung oil recipe

I think it unlikely there would be problems. Nothing in their paint manual to suggest otherwise. Mind you I have a vested interest in you trying as following the success of switching to their enamel this year, I plan to switch from Hempel one-pot varnish to Epifanes next year.

No problem. Just do the prep work right.
Sand with P220 and wipe off with denatured alcohol.
Tack rag everything.
Mix in enough Epifanes Brush Thinner for the conditions,
beware of excess humidity and also direct sunlight.
I am in Turkey so, I guess, those things are a bit more relevant than where you are.
Invest in a good brush such as a Badger, I know they are expensive but if you look after them they will last for years.
My first one is now over 20 years old and still in regular use.
