Will I need a new warrant signed on behalf of CR111to continue to wear my defaced ensign?

BTW. Farewell and thanks very much Liz. You will never be equalled or replaced.

Undoubtably such things will come about in due course.
Your warrant comes via an allegiance the Crown, not the wearer of it.
Now't to fret about.

The club or organisation issuing permits to fly an ensign other than red may have to get the wording of their Royal Warrant or agreement with the Crown changed from HM Queen to HM King but I don't think permit holders need take any action.
The application to the RNSA for a permit to fly a blue one, attached, makes no mention of King or Queen and I don't think the permit does either.

Ah, so you are not entitled to wear one then... ;)
The existence of the hierarchy pisses some people off, yet it’s not as if it’s that exclusive. Anyone can join a Royal club, there are some people who’ve been allowed to join ours that beggar the imagination, and they can get a warrant if they want to. I can understand the socialist point of view with billionaires, most of us don’t have a hope of getting there, through no fault of our own. A blue ensign, if you want one, do something about it, don’t whine.

I'm a member of the RNSA and don't fly a Blue Ensign. Does that make me one of the plebs?
No, no.

You will have to be proposed and seconded by a member of the pleb aristocracy.

I will be happy to oblige in the former capacity and am sure there will be plenty of offers from plebs here willing to second your application.
