I can scive off on Tuesday - so If she crosses the line (Ushant) at 19.00 Monday - when would they come into Falmouth?

I assume that a bunch of gorrilas will take over for the night. Ellen will no doubt jump ship for the night to get a good nights kip - so what time will they come in to Falmouth - 8 am? 9am? 10.am? I have a 260 mile drive to do so just wondering what time to get up!

Hiya,

My info as a journalist is that they won't bring Ellen into Falmouth between 2300 and 0800. So if she can't reach port by late on Monday night then you will be safe in assuming that Tuesday morning will be the eta. This is subject to dire circumstance etc....but my best bet would be an early Tuesday eta. Hope you can come....it will be one hell of a party!

The web site says 7-14 hours after crossing the line.

Tuesday morning I reckon but much depends how long it takes her to get enough easting in to benefit from the South Easterly forecast (that's hoping it arrives as forecast).

She's steering about SE at the moment - must be a frustrating course.

Are you serious? About going to Falmouth

Hi Chris, Long time no see...Are you serious? About going to Falmouth, BBC Radio Cornwall at 7.30am this morning said traffic was backed up to Penryn trying to fet into Falmouth. The radio said at least 300 jurno's not counting TV cameras are already there set up, so what it will be like tomorrow is anyones guess.
