Makes you realise a little of what she went through. I know she took some stick on the forums for her 'emails' which were a little downbeat at times, but given the conditions, mental and physical, she was experiencing, it's no wonder.

I was once through seas like that off cape horn in a 12,000 ton boat and was really scared and said so to the bosun. He looked at me for a minute and said, son, I've been at sea for 40 years and still get scared, so never be afraid of being a bit afraid. I've always remembered that wee lesson.
