I know she retired from prof sailing and runs two charities but does she own and sail a boat of her own for pleasure, as Ben Ainslee did or does (the one that was towed to Richard Bransons Island when he was on honeymoon)

I have read her books. I heard or read she was having a house built to her specifications on the Isle of Wight. The Corribee may be an ornament but has she given up sailing altogether or does she sail for pleasure in something larger than 21 feet?

This is a link to Sir Ainslie yacht....... I would think Dame Ellen would not be so extravagant, but I don't know her.....just respectful and interested,

It’s an interesting question. I should imagine after a Vendee Globe boat not much else is going to cut the mustard.

I remember a Formula One driver (Damon Hill I think) saying that it doesn’t matter which supercar you put him in - they all feel fairly unimpressive after an F1 car.

I reckon a Moth might retain her interest, but it wouldn't be my first choice for the summer cruise ?

I use her website a lot when teaching design tech, especially about circular design. I hope she does still sail and am curious I would like to see her on a 1900s Harrison Butler!
