Bought one of these It works ok but has a problem . If the electric goes off it automatically re-sets to 20C so it will be on all the time until I reset it. I have now bought a low tech room stat and mounted it on a board . Much better solution

We have a similar thermostatic plug switch, but a different make, which has an AAA battery inside it which retains the settings (unless the battery fails)
 
I just leave the 2 tube heater on all the time. At 100 watt each they would never raise the temperature that much to be of concern. What size tube heaters are you running.

Unless they're very low spec they should have a rechargeable battery or capacitor inside to keep the memory going during interruptions; ask for a refund.
