Electrolux RC1600 3-Way Fridge

used a similar one in angola, ran on 12v, 230v or gas, it was ok but a bit slow to cool things, it only ever worked wellish on the mains, it would chew a 12v battery (60 amps) in less than an hr to the point where it would only just start the car. it needed to run continuously to be effective

I think they only cool and don't actually get as cold as a compressor fridge. I've read of them cooling to 20 degrees below ambient.

Used to have an earlier ones, only ever ran it on gas on the boat, although the c£$av^n one was run on 12/240 & Gas.
They used to get cold enough to keep Ice-cream hard for 48hrs+
They do not like being continuously tilted, OK on a moboat but a problem on a yacht.
