Electric Shaver with USB

I remember constant ads for them. Would it have been on Radio Luxembourg?
Could be.
I remember the controversy .
Saturday's newspapers were great for adds. I bought loads of rubbish and some good stuff. You could buy something like a Ex WD BSA and sidecar for about £30.According to the link given above, Rolls concentrated more on press advertising.

The Wikipedia article suggests that they promoted Rolls Razors as the perfect 21st birthday present for a young man!

If I'd waited until I was 21 to start shaving, I'd have had a beard down to my knees! Here's a photo of me at 20 (the beard was deliberate!)

I gave up with shaving (and grew/grow a beard). But my practice does not solve the issue as I now have a perfectly serviceable Braun shaver, usb charged, but now need a beard trimmer, I keep my beard on the closest cut.

As with the Pilot in liking clean cheeks, shaved (so I still need the Braun) but find soap and water keeps them clean :)

Many years ago, probably in the nineties, I was in a marina in the Hamble (although that's not relevant) and although I don't like dry shaving, sbdy nearby was using a dry shaver that was run by what appeared to be a pull string that must have spun up an internal flywheel/blade..

I've never heard of one since but a quick search on the internet finds...

Not necessarily a recommendation but it's something different and should always work.
