ECF Christmas 2014 Quiz

Have to admit I didn't realise there were others like me who haven't entered because I thought everyone else would know the answers so my entry would be pointless, however, as I see things are not quite as I thought I'll have to see if I can find time to enter this time, breaking a long standing tradition. Oh, and herself likes vodka so that'll be yet another tradition broken in the unlikely event of my winning :encouragement:

If Tradewinds doesn't speak with forked tongue you know what I'm like at organising, Neil, I'd never manage to organise one of these in just twelve months :cool:
 
Might take me a bit longer than that though, lots to do and not a lot of time to do it, ever. I need one of those freeze time gizmo's just to catch up with the job list :encouragement:
 
Problem with the reverse Adnam's is that it only freezes time for me, I need it to freeze time for everyone else so I get more done in less time, but I think spending more time working on the answers to this years quiz may not help on that score ;)
 
Well, this will keep me quiet over Christmas, and well into next year I should think...would make a start now but still got mince pies to make and pressies to wrap...before off to see Father Christmas sail up to Snape on the barge Cygnet later today...
I won't be able to do a fraction of these, so looking forward to the answers.

Oh all right, I'll try and find time to have a go! Not much time to relax between now and the New Year though. Still, loadsa money eh? :/
 
Have given it a bit of a go, but it ain't half hard, mum. Will continue later this week, well me and Google will. Anchor windlass should be fitted today, fingers crossed. Have measured over and over, drilled holes, removed redundant deck fittings, made good, primed and painted. Also did a trial run and all seemed to fit ok so today it should all be ok (cue sod and his son to pay a visit!!). After that it's only the electrics to fit - Ha easy.

Creativity will always be useful if it becomes necessary to split a tie!

The Landmarks, Seamarks and Waypoints are all on (or close to) the East Coast of England.
