My search made may wonder if eberspacher problems are the biggest single topic on our furum??.........My specific problem not covered though!!
The unit worked fine until I started to fit it on the boat, I believe that one mistake was to use inadequate wire from the battery and thus there was insufficient power. Worse still I inadvertantly reversed the polarity although it did try to start up after this.
Took it all back home for 'bench testing' and dicovered that the fuel pump is not working. I can get fuel to pump by using wire directly to the pump and even get the heater to work by clicking away every second. This gets very tiring after a few hours and thecrew insist that I get it working properly!!
I guess that there is some (expensive) gizmo in the control unit which I may have blown.
Can anyone help on this please??
Happy christmas to all.
