Can anyone tell me what the specification is for this (on a D2 it connects to the grey wire and, I assume, ground)?

Presumably it's just an ordinary thermistor, but I want to know the manufacturer's (eg Siemens) spec (i.e ntc or ptc, and resistance at 0, 50 and 100C).

I bought a second hand D2 in good working order, but it assumes the use of return ducting, which I don't want to use, and so uses the internal sensor on the air intake to sense the temperature.

I realise this is an old thread but have been searching and found:

This sensor appears to be identical to the Eberspacher original and may be used connected between the grey and brown/white wire when the internal sensor is disconnected on the D1LC and others.

They are less than £1...

Hope this helps someone else!

If assistance is needed with the wiring let me know.
