Does anyone know it a 701 timer I've used on an old Hydronic 10, will work on the the newer Hydronic 2 M10?
I think there are at least 2 version of the 701, the one I have is a 701 10 007, which works with water heater, but the manual is dated 2003, which raises the question in my mind as to whether it will work with the curreent version of the Hydronic 10.

Just to answer my own question, just in case anyone is thinking of upgrading to the mark 2 Hydronic M10, after talking to some suppliers , the answer is yes, you can use a 701 10 0707 timer with the new Hydronic 2M10.
However, you cannot use the same wiring loom. Although the plug on the Hydronic 2M10 is exactly the same as on the later versions of the old Hydronic 10, it is wired up completely differently.

The plugs are just fancy crimp housings if you mean the burgundy one, and these can be changed around by removing individual crimps with a pin (crimp remover sets are pretty cheap)
