Just thought I would feed back as this evening got the eber fired up.
After all the very helpful help I took the unit home and connected to the computer and could not get any communication between the controller and the computer. Decided controller was dead. Bought new one. About to fit new controller this week as the kids wanted a night on the boat over half term and stripped it down for decoking etc, decided to check the glow plug and this was not working, bought one of those. Cleaned and all back together with new controller and new glow plug.
Fitted in boat and started first time and had heat and hot water, SWMBO will be pleased.
Kids seem to have gone off the idea of a night on board.....
Again thanks for all the help and encouragement and have decided they are not quite as scary as they first seem.
