So if I understand this, you have an inlet in the cockpit & two outlets downstairs, & a 4kw heater. If this is correct am I correct in saying you should be able to run another outlet to the cockpit. Cue Volvo Paul.

Yes a 4kw will run 4 outlets, it also depends on the length of he hose run and how well it's insulated as the last vent usually blows only Luke warm.
Just to update you (and to relieve you all of my frustrating ignorance)...the vent in question is the air intake. I did the paper test as suggested by you all and to my surprise, it is sucking and NOT blowing, it just felt like it was against my hand (bizarre!!). So in conclusion...our 3 year old sc35 doesn't have a warm air vent in the cockpit. Am gonna have one fitted tho if poss coz it is bloody cold without one!! At least I know alls working fine and dandy which is a relief. Thanks all for your help as always

As a factory approved installer for Webo & Mikuni I am a little concerned here, if as I assume this is a factory or pro fit then what happenrd to the "Heater intake do not cover" label?
If you PM me your address I will mail you one FOC.
