Pulled because the seller offered to complete the trade outside of ebay.

Correct !!. EPAY are bar stewards in their dealings with listings. You cant say anything out of line where there's a chance it'll cost them a valuation fee. You cant even say,"sorry no paypal due to fee's" as they'll pull it.They dont want people knowing the high charges they make.

Funny though, i tried to sell a fantastic down to last detail, Replica Blue Submarina Rolex and they pulled that auction and eventually closed my account because of it with hundreds of 100% feedback to my name because of copyright infringment yet look on EPAY now and tap in replica, you'll see nearly 6500 items, go figure. I hate ebay and just wish someone would rival them, how hard can it be.

EBay do NOT police the listings.

Its other users that point things out to them using the reporting tool at the bottom of each listing.

Then they take action.

They don't trawl through any of the listings themselves, they just let people report any breaches of their policies (No I did not report him)

At the end of the day eBay have rules, if you don't like them, don't sell or buy from eBay.

I am not sticking up for eBay but they have saved the Royal Mail from virtual extinction.

Yes I do wish there was another competitor, but the money needed to get the exposure that eBay has would be ludicrous.

Anyway, the seller was a complete and utter Id***. I am guessing he has serious financial problems and seem to want to take it out on the person that he was allowing to buy his boat. A little bit full of his own self importance.

Still, it was a cheap boat
