For a bonus point, what's the boat to the port side of the T43?

It’s Porto cervo Pete. Shot from the little landing point with Bvlgari shops and suchlike, sharp left as you enter from the sea

I'll rewrite the question, if you don't mind:
What's the out of place boat with the weird bimini on port side of the world renowned Cigala & Bertinetti Shark, which btw fits very nicely in such refined environment? :D

PS: are you in Sardinia right now, by chance?

btw that is a Targa 40 not 43. Easy to recognize with the Windscreen design (smaller and shorter) and the white at the back.

Pete as Fairline fan you are letting us all down. :)

There was a live webcam for this area in Porto Cervo which is the one to port side when coming in which last year (I think) stopped working.

Is it a 45 Shark or a 41 Champion. 45 Shark it is, as I just checked my brochure from 1987.

Super boats, Cigala and Bertinetti, I agree.

The shame! I don't know what's worse, putting port when I meant starboard or confusing a T43 with a T40! Not having a good day was I?

What's wrong with the bimini, blimmin cheek (it's the same design as mine).

Sadly not in Sardinia or would have come to see you. But Hotel Cala di Volpe is on my bucket list.

Nothing wrong with the design, but doesn't the one in the pic look very loose, particularly in its fwd section?
Mind, it might be just the viewing angle...

...of course it can't be too bad, if that's what you've got also in your fine vessel! :encouragement:

Well actually I have two non OEM straps that go from the windscreen to the front of the bimini to prevent the wind from bending the frame. As you said, in that pic could be the viewing angle or possibly that it's not adjusted properly.

Fairenuff, but where's my bonus point recognition?
If you had any doubts about my guess, the seal of approval from PYB should have sorted them!
