Well, I only asked, in this conversation who had bought place, as the agent would not tell me as they are not legally obliged to say.. Because basically it was between myself and the new owners, who was to get the place. But that is life. So yes I know what there is to know. Naturally I am disappointed on losing out, So anyone know of similar Marina or boatyard for sale I am in the market for one. I don't know VP personally, but seen him at Eadtlands during my viewings this year.

Moorings to stay the same. Change of use for commercial units. Ugly boats to be kept under shrinkwrap

It's been on the Market for a while so could have purchased.

Alll seems a bit academic really - someone has bought a yard and someone else hasn't. Are the boater's using said yard affected is what really matters ?

All l needed to know in my original Question is who has bought the place. Thats now been confirmed as expected , that's all I asked. End of conversation or thread as its called. I can move on now thank you. But maybe I come back to this thread in a fews years and see how things will of have changed.

You can always approach Pascoe with an offer for the boatyard and marina. Except for having access to the water and three or so berths, it may not be strategic and they might prefer to free up capital and/or reduce their debt.

For.interest, what was the place on for? Amount paid will be with land registry at some point, so not a secret.

There is a rumour sme one is going to build the S23 again is it to be aDurley 24/5

You need all the mooring income and all the rental income to make it worthwhile. I don't have the S23 moulds, they may of got cut up or the Germans might have it. More likely cut up. Be great if they are still around. But I do own the the former Sealine T50 / T60 moulds.
