Easter plan A.. Channel crossing

Due to the forecast we decided to head back to East Cowes today. Ar the mo we're leaving Guernsey and making a slow plod up to Alderney to get there for around 13.30

I did see the boat yesterday... looks very nice example.
The weather seems to have changed quite a lot in the past hour.

Thanks Ian. We were out cycling on Monday, sorry to have missed you. Didn't we meet in North Wales a few years ago?

I was really busy at the weekend so had no time to met up anyway Colin.
We did meet up at the Royal Welsh and previously at Hamble when Kawasaki and Searush came down.

Glad you had a good trip, and I was really surprised others missed a good weather for an early channel crossing.

Sorry to have missed you, we were also in Guernsey until Monday on Bootlegger, having come over from Yarmouth at the start of last week via Alderney. It was a touch lumpy with the easterly winds but not too bad in there.

Brilliant weather, given the season. We met some interesting overfalls in the Ortac channel on the way home in the north going stream, but apart from that it was pretty god. As has been said, surprised hardly any other UK boats were over.
