Plan will be, as usual, to do something mid week, to avoid clashes with valuable boating time....

Location TBA...... but somewhere easy access for all...

usually get half a dozen or so people along.... for a pint and a bite to eat somewhere... nothing flash....

Thames Valley! and there are about 20 of us that meet regularly, so that should skew things our way, then there are the London meets, of which there are about 4 groups that meet. so that should skew it a bit further.

So how about High Wycombe /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

IIRC, this time last year we met over at Towcester - would somewhere like that be of interest? A bit to the "sarf" of the East Midlands area I know, but we did attract the distinguished Mr P Handy ...

Anyone got opinions on The Hole In The Wall , Stamford . Conveniently , just off the A1 , and a friday night .

Gosh... 'The Hole in the Wall'...... too much of my mispent 'Yoof' in that place.......

Towcester would be OK for me..... that pub (can't remember its name without looking it up) was v nice, and the food was good.... as would Rutland...

I've made the decision too many times... i'll let you lot decide, and then go with the flow....

Ditto, I'm a meet virgin as well. Also looks as if remain so for a while as I'm off to Devon next week for 3-4wks. Could make the last 2 weeks in August though, especially if it takes place in the Stamford-Rutland area.

Stamford / Rutland area still works for me , is this going to start moving or does someone have to do a GC1 and set the date and time and location , then allow for variations .

not too bothered about location as i usually enjoy the liquid refreshments too much /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif and stay the night /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif ....so somewhere with accomodation would be nice /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
