I am doubtful the WM water taxi would go to East Mersea, especially on a Saturday in the middle of the summer. They have a website, so you could ask

There is of course the ferry that runs from Brightlingsea to Point Clear to Mersea Stone. But, only for a while during the day.

it ought to be 1st Weekend in JULY.

Pirates=Kids=School holidays as preferred date.

both the above mentioned dates are akward but I am willing to fit in with any date .

Can make either of those dates but would prefer the 2nd weekend;

Any chance it could be the year after next? At the current rate of progress we might possibly have a boat in the water by then. ;-)

The Club boats definitely would not - on a busy summer's week-end it's pretty much endless back and forth - but Stacey (Lady Grace) would take you - for a price!

Not such an issue for us this year or at this location,

Its never a problem. I have set out for Pirates at 0300 before in a ruddy 6 on the nose, towing a dinghy for delivery. If you want to be there, you will be there.

Might even be able to get the HM to drop us off

So is it on or is it on? the 13th July seems to be the preferred date for most people, and if this weather holds, could be good. The BBC are predicting 17c at 10.00 pm
